I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…Anyone who says that money doesn’t buy you happiness has never had money! I know this because there have been plenty of times when I’ve been broke and multiple times when I’ve had plenty, and I can say without a doubt that I was much happier when I had plenty.
Now if you said that money can’t buy you health then I’d be more inclined to believe that. Having good health trumps having plenty of money any day because all the money in the world means nothing if you’re sick and dying because as they say, you can’t take it with you.
A lot of people dream of being rich and although it would be nice, I have no wild fantasies of hitting the lottery and never having to work again. It’s okay to dream big but the odds against it are astronomical and unrealistic so I choose to spend my available funds elsewhere.
My idea of being rich is having great health, being able to pay all my bills on time, have savings in the bank, good credit and a positive mental mindset without the stress of the thought of living paycheck to paycheck weighing me down each and every month. Now, that’s what I call happiness because being broke is no way to live!
